SNL – Lady Gaga

Standard

If you’re relying on Hulu to give you the best of SNL last night with host Lady Gaga, you’re about to be disappointed. Many of the best sketches are not available online. From Gaga’s stellar monologue, singing Applause about pandering for applause from the audience to the album compilation sketch about the best of the worst ever cover songs, a lot of awesome is missing.

Never fear, little monsters and SNL fans, here’s what Hulu does have to offer.

No doubt this sketch is going to turn Kanye into an all caps ranting mess (but what doesn’t?). Jay Pharoah was spot damn on in his Kanye impression and Nasim was perfect as Kim. Gaga plays Karen, an Apple Genius Bar employee who is brought in to fix Kim’s computer and explain how she can call herself a genius. She’s super adorable as Karen. Don’t miss this sketch.

It’s Wednesday, TV’s day of murder, Bitchcraft and four animated kids. What should you watch? Good question. Here’s what I’m watching tonight.

Criminal Minds (CBS, 9pm EST) – Tonight, the BAU investigates the disappearance of teenagers who are also suspected of perpetrating several mass murders. This should be an interesting one.

Law and Order: SVU (NBC, 9pm EST) – In this episode, a raped military officer won’t cooperate with SVU because she’s afraid it’ll ruin her reputation.

American Horror Story: Coven (FX, 10pm EST) – There’s a dark entity stuck inside the school and the girls set about making contact with it. Given all they’ve been through so far, it’s pretty inadvisable but should make for a great episode.

South Park (Comedy Central, 10pm EST) – Okay, are you sitting down? Randy gets a job as a mall cop on Black Friday. Also, the boys are dressed up like their questing characters in the upcoming South Park video game, The Stick of Truth, and the classic episode, The Return of The Fellowship of the Ring to the Two Towers. Cartman. Wizard hat. Don’t miss it.

There’s a lot to choose from tonight on TV. Here’s what I’m watching.

Agents of SHIELD (ABC, 8pm EST) – Fitz and Ward go on a dangerous mission and classified secrets are kept from the team. We almost lost Simmons last week. If I were Fitz, I’d be staying closer to home this week.

Supernatural (CW, 9pm EST) – Cas is back! Cas calls Dean for help with a mysterious disappearance. Meanwhile, Dean tells Sam and Kevin to work on the tablet with Crowley. What could go wrong?

Sons of Anarchy (FX, 10pm EST) – Everything escalates this week as Jax and Gaalen meet again, which went really well last time. Also, one of the kids goes missing. This episode is 90 minutes long so check your DVR settings and get comfortable.

Sound good? What are you watching tonight?

Unsure of what to watch tonight? Here are my Monday recommendations.

How I Met Your Mother (CBS, 8pm EST) – In tonight’s episode, Robin and Lily give challenges to Barney, which he — wait for it — accepts. Also, it’s the return of Bryan Cranston!

2 Broke Girls (CBS, 8:30pm EST) – Max and Caroline go to a hot restaurant that’s almost impossible to get into. Will shenanigans ensue? Most definitely.

Over on TBS, there’s a Big Bang Theory marathon from 9pm to 11pm.

South Park‘s Coon and Friends trilogy is on Comedy Central starting at 9:30pm. If you’ve been missing Mysterion as much as I have or have a fondness for Cartman and Cthulhu, this is the trilogy to watch.
